I thought, why not let my first post be about the future. Three days until the New Year 2010. Time to put 2009 to bed.
First goal , do more miles. Ending 2009 just short of 1000 miles, is not bad for a newbie. I'm wondering if I've got what it takes to double that.
Second goal, join a running club. Being a new runner I could benefit from experience. I'm always looking for a new challenge.
Third goal, enter more races. 5ks to full marathons. The T shirts to the finishers medal. I want it all. Maybe 12 5ks and 2 marathons, and at least 1 ultra 40 before 40.
Four, Inspire and mentor someone to a healthy lifestyle.
Five, Inspire and mentor someone to their first half or full marathon.
Resolutions
Cut my times, Pr's are not that important. . . Yeah right.
Do Speed work.
Cut back on FB time.
Plan running time around family time.
Quit the bowl of icecream before bed.
I'm sure there is more but gotta sleep, gotta run.

10 Tips For Running In The Cold
10 Tips For Running In The Cold from Runner's World.com
